How can a mere few minutes drive end up in almost an hour ?
Here's the stories ...
Location : Lebuhraya Puchong - Sg.Besi (from Astro/TPM towards Puchong LDP)
Date : 17th. December, 2007
Time : Morning wee hours around 7.30 am ++
Road Condition : Bumper to bumper crawling
Reason : These officers setting up road blocks (near Kinrara Industrial Park), closing one of the only two lanes and THEY (the officers) CHAT at road side leaving few kilometres of traffic crawling behind.
CONGRATULATIONS ! They've successfully created darn-for-no-reason traffic jam for all the tax-payers and drivers while they just need to standby the road sides to chat !
Verdict : It took me almost an hour to pass that stretch of road which normally takes me few minutes !
WHY? Who's able to answer this and give sample reasons ? If its necessary to setup such road blocks to deter certain crime, good enough. But then who's watching the passerby ... a hiding CCTV camera probably, buy i didn't notice any.
To the road users and tax-paying citizens ... please continue to keep silent and succumb to such in-understandable actions by our ever trusted, ever loyal peace enforcing officers !
